Brief

Working with global sportswear brand Ellesse we were tasked with engaging female tennis fans across the world. We utilise the increased interest around brand ambassador Monica Puig, following her Rio Olympic gold medal, to drive brand awareness and video views.

Response

We shot and produced a 4-part bespoke video series, Monica’s Story to tell a compelling and moving brand story that would emotionally engage female tennis fans.

We wanted Monica to tell her life story, in her own words combining footage shot on location in London, with archival content from her childhood, early professional career, as well as fan footage from Rio and her homecoming parade in Puerto Rico. We gave fans a unique insight into what it takes to become a tennis star and how the brand has supported Monica in her journey.

The campaign not only re-invigorated our channels level of engagement but allowed us to engage with our consumers on a global level. Kudos to the Wilderness team who continue to produce fantastic results.
