A BIT OF HISTORY

We were founded in 2015 by Tom Jarvis, who was quickly joined by our Jamie Maple, our long-serving Strategy & Creative Director.

Launched with the belief that agencies could be built to support the change that was happening around them, becoming a truly integrated partner, whilst promoting positive change within our industry.  

From those early days of in-housing social experts into big entertainment companies (like Sony Pictures, Warner Bros, and 20th Century Fox) to building the first social transformation agency, Wilderness has for the last decade been at the forefront of digital and social change.  

Having been acquired by Havas Media Network UK in February of 2024, joining the recently formed Havas Play Network, Wilderness is now set to become the defining social agency of the next phase of social media marketing.

With the scale, technology, and talent of one of the world’s biggest communications networks, Wilderness remains independent in spirit but with global scale and capabilities to support the world’s most beloved brands.
