Video Intern (6-month fixed term contract):
We are now recruiting for an enthusiastic and creative graduate to join our growing creative team. You would be an integral part of the content team, working closely with the Production Assistant, Creatives and Strategists.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a creative eye, a keen interest in TV, Nature, Motoring and Sports, experience in video creation for social media and have a degree level qualification or equivalent experience with key programs/software.

Your primary responsibility is to obtain hands-on experience editing video content for the wide variety of clients across Wilderness’ portfolio. You will be required to understand and manage your incoming briefs to then execute them with pixel perfection. This would involve reviewing and sourcing interesting content, adding/animating titles, intro/outros, subtitles and motion graphics.

You are expected to display great attention to detail along with strong time and organisation management. The team will support and guide you throughout the internship in order to develop knowledge across social content creation, strategic thinking, platform strategy, video & design best practices and software skills.

Your Line Manager will also be on hand to provide regular face to face time that will give you the platform to share updates and get the guidance to support your development.

Areas of Responsibility:
Create digital video & design content for social media posts, stories and digital advertising.
Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including after effects and premier, photoshop & illustrator.
Be comfortable adapting existing client assets and creating new ones from scratch.
Create and translate storyboards/mockups into final videos assets.
Support the creative and strategy teams to deliver conceptual ideas and assets for a varied client base.
Work across video editing, motion and digital design while balancing creativity with effectiveness.
Taking part in regular team brainstorms and discussions.
Supporting others to deliver campaigns and client projects where scope allows.
Sharing internal learnings with the wider team.
Have an active role in team events and company culture.

Key attributes/skills:
Graduate in a relevant discipline (e.g. video editing, motion graphics, film production, graphic design & video) or equivalent experience with key programs/software.
Experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite especially Premier Pro and Photoshop.
Knowledge of platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and others.
Good understanding of video tech specs.
A creative mind, able to turn ideas into engaging social content.
Good English literacy and spelling skills.
Ability to work proactively and effectively.
Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality.
