Social Media Executive

We’re on the hunt for a film-mad Junior Social Media Executive, who can talk and think like a fan.

The role reports directly into the Strategist with additional support from the Jnr Executive(s).

The role is responsible for the delivery of client requests across their key social channels, campaign delivery, attending client meetings, reporting, brainstorming and supporting our creative team to produce content.

You are expected to display excellent attention to detail, creativity and strong copy-writing ability with exemplary time and organisation management. The team will support you in the development of analytics, pitching and presenting skills.

Your Line Manager will provide regular 1-2-1 time for you to share updates in order for them to give guidance and support your development.


Areas of Responsibility:

Supporting the Strategists with the delivery of strategic social media management across your client base.
Producing monthly social media content calendars – keeping them at least a month in advance for all clients.
Social media reporting – creating weekly, monthly, project and quarterly reports on social media metrics, content, and learnings.
Being aware of how/where spend is being invested across clients.
Being part of regular client updates, calls and meetings alongside the senior team.
Scheduling paid and organic social posts – having knowledge of ads.
Briefing of social media content creation with the in-house creative team.
Awareness of the company’s full client portfolio and supporting other teams to deliver campaigns and client projects where scope allows.
Supporting clients’ other agencies (media, PR etc.) with workflow where necessary.
Taking part in regular team brainstorms.
Sharing and presenting internal learnings with the wider team
Have an active role in team events and company culture
Supporting new business and agency promotion.
Awareness of Insight and Listening tools

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of current trends in entertainment with a keen interest in film and TV.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
A team player who’s willing to collaborate with peers to resolve problems but also confident to work autonomously.
Enthusiastic and positive approach to challenges and eager to seek opportunities.
Resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
