Account Director (Start-ups)
Pack by Wilderness Agency offers marketing for the brands of tomorrow. Working with some of Europe’s most exciting start-up and scale-up businesses.
We are looking for an experienced Account Director to lead the team at pack and delivery of campaigns for our exciting roster of start-up and scale-up brands.
The role will report directly into the Managing Director with support from the Project / Account Management team at pack and the wider Wilderness Agency team. You will have experience handling a variety of clients and campaigns (experience working with fast-growth, disruptive businesses preferred but not essential), managing campaign timeline and budgets and overseeing both internal and external teams.
The role will also include business development and account growth and we are looking for a proactive and passionate leader who can drive the growth of the pack by Wilderness team. A demonstrable interest and awareness of start-up culture and the investment scene will come across in your passion for this role and for your clients’ businesses.
You will need to have strong time management skills, attention to detail and be a confident communicator and presenter.
Areas of Responsibility:
Management of marketing strategies and campaigns for a variety of fast-growth clients
Responsibility for maintaining and growing client relationships
Management of internal Project / Account Management team
Oversight across campaign and annual budget and forecasting
Active role in new business and development of new accounts
Networking to cultivate lasting relationships with potential clients and partners
Creation and presentation of pitches and proposals
Managing external partners and freelance creatives
Support the marketing of pack by Wilderness
Take an active role in team events and company culture
Sharing and presenting internal learnings with the wider team.
Setting a precedent and being an example to team members; time management, arrival times, quality of work, positive impact during team meetings, challenging assumptions and looking for solutions to challenges.
What we require:
3+ years experience in Account Management
Strong knowledge and passion for start-ups
Business development and new business experience
