Uswitch appoints Wilderness as social agency

Uswitch has appointed Wilderness - The Social Media Agency as its social media agency of record.

Uswitch, the UK’s leading comparison site for energy, broadband and mobile services, has appointed social media transformation agency Wilderness, part of Havas Play UK, as its social media agency of record.

Wilderness will lead Uswitch’s digital engagement strategy, focusing on expanding its presence on TikTok through always-on content and strategic campaigns, alongside consultancy across Instagram, Facebook and Reddit, to deepen its engagement with Gen Z and millennial audiences.

The partnership will support the roll-out of Uswitch’s new brand platform, We Put U First, launched last year, highlighting Uswitch’s commitment to putting consumers at the forefront, working behind the scenes to secure the best deals, offer impartial advice, and help people make smarter financial decisions.

Wilderness’s strategy will focus on major life stages for this younger demographic such as moving out, budgeting, and starting families. Campaigns will address key financial topics including energy price caps, interest rate changes and money-saving tips, presented in accessible, actionable, and engaging ways through trend-driven content, creator collaborations, and timely cultural moments.

The first campaign, launching in September, will mark Uswitch’s 25th anniversary of helping consumers save on energy, broadband, and mobile bills. Wilderness will build brand fame around this milestone, spotlighting Uswitch’s position as a trusted consumer champion across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

Wilderness, acquired by Havas Media Network last year, is currently up for 6 UK Social Media Awards, including Best Use of TikTok, Best Use of Social Media for Entertainment and Best Real Time Response Campaign.
